What's So Great About Coconut Oil?

Coconut oil multi-tasks almost as well as you do!

Deep condition your hair Coconut oil easily penetrates the strands and can even prevent protein loss. Apply a quarter-sized dollop to your hair, comb it, and then pile it into a loose bun. Grab your finest shower cap and hit the sack. In the morning, give a quick wash with a gentle shampoo. Smooth, shiny locks all day.

Tame frizz and add shine Rub a small bit of coconut oil between the pads of your fingers and run through frizzy areas to smooth and polish hair. A tiny bit on the ends will make hair shiny - but just a TINY bit or your hair might be greasy.

Use to remove makeup AND moisturize

Coconut oil is a great makeup remover and nighttime moisturizer for the face. It will even remove the toughest waterproof mascara. Rub the oil all over your face and neck and give yourself a gentle massage. When you’re done, wipe off with a tissue or wash with a gentle cleanser.

Eye Cream, Anyone?

While there are plenty eye creams on the market, coconut oil works in a pinch. Simply dab on a light layer of coconut oil (use your ring finger to avoid tugging or applying too much pressure) to dry under-eyes to hydrate and protect the skin.

Hydrate dry hands (or arms, or legs, or wherever you're dry)

Coconut oil can work wonders on dry, itchy skin. Simply use it as your go-to moisturizer if you’re looking for an affordable option that not only smells amazing, but also leaves your skin feeling nourished and smooth. Use it to instead of commercial shaving cream. It's skin-soothing properties will leave your legs looking hydrated (but never greasy).
